Dre announcing that his oft-delayed Detox album is coming on April 20 or so we thought. Dre but it sounds like that’s about to change with the rumors that the artist has a new album on the way. Producer Just Blaze posted a Twit video this past weekend which finds super-producer/rapper Dr. The album was also unavailable on competing services like Spotify. It’s been a while since we heard anything from famed producer Dr. Surprisingly, when Beats Music first arrived in 2014, The Chronic, one of Rolling Stone‘s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, was not part of that streaming service’s catalog, even though it fell under the umbrella of Beats Electronics’ deal with Apple. It had previously appeared on a streaming service, but was removed in 2011. Its title caused confusion, as it was released in 1999 and went through several working titles. Dre‘s G-Funk classic The Chronic will emerge on Apple’s relaunched service June 30th, a source close to the service confirmed to Rolling Stone.
